{Absolutely Fabulous}

Here I go again with the "sentiment talk", but seriously---don't you love this sentiment? I love that these designers can read my mind and know exactly what I want to say....that sounds a little paranoid, but I often have these tendencies! :0

Last night I was able to squeeze in some time to stamp a card in between work and the Seminary Ice Cream Social (on the hottest day of the year---of course!). I was so excited that I was able to finish a card on such a busy day---it gives me hope for my school year!

I needed a simple card for a friend that I just love---and, she's "card worthy!" So I started with a simple white card and added a layer of Hibiscus Burst paper. I decided I'd use a polka dot as a background on the paper. A friend of mine actually has my Polka Dot Basics set, so I used the "dot" from Simply Stationery. I stamped it randomly in VersaMark ink and then heat embossed it in white. I used the spiral punch on the side of the paper and glued it down. Next I quickly stamped my stems and flowers and added the Absolutely Fabulous sentiment accented by more stamps from Simply Stationery. I glittered my flowers and added the ribbon accent. I popped it up and was done. I thought of all sorts of things to add to it, but I needed to be done. I'm learning to be content with a simple card---what do you think?

Thanks for looking in today!
