{PTI Paint by Number}

Papertrey Ink is having their 3rd Anniversary party this month and today Nichole has put a little challenge out to her "followers" aka stalkers!

She has a sketch that we used and we had to use colors that she chose based on the first letter of our user name---. These aren't colors I would EVER put together, but except for the Raspberry Fizz on this card, I actually like it! I don't hate the Raspberry Fizz, but I wish I had put it somewhere else. I just didn't have much time to play around with it today---I have Valentine's to make!!
These are the colors I was assigned based on my name---there's a $100 gift certificate on the line here---you should play along! Just go to Nichole's blog post here and all the direction are there.

I used the rock and roll technique with Orange Zest and Terracota Tile. I added white grosgrain ribbon and a Ripe Avocado vintage button tied on with some twine. I stamped polka dots with Fresh Snow ink on the Orange Zest cardstock. Well, I'll put the info below if you have any questions. I need to run~I have some other things to do---like laundry and stuff---hate that!

I hope you have a great day~thanks for stopping by!
Kathleen

Fun and bright colors. I really like how the ribbon hangs off the edge. Way to rock the PTI paint by numbers challenge.

It's a good life!

I love your card, Kathleen! I had the same colors to work with & REALLY struggled with that Rasp. Fizz too! Ended up being only a tiny scalloped edge & 5 gems I colored with my Copic marker in the centers of the flowers! I actually do like it more & more as I gaze at it!
Thanks for your sweet comment on my origami challenge card today too!
