{Thank you tent card}
This is my first tent card---I've always looked at them and never made one. I needed a thank you card, so I decided to try one. I saw this one on Debbie Olson's blog---no surprise there, but I decided to make one very similar to hers. Of course, it never looks quite like hers! OH well, it was fun. The base card is 4 1/4" square, after adding the tent it's still only 5 1/2" so I can use an A2 envelope . I used Cosmo Cricket patterened paper and Baby Button Bits. I sponged around the edges with some Ranger distress ink. I cut the scallops with my Fiskars punch and used some vintage buttons for accents. I colored the flowers with Copic markers--the sentiment is from Vintage Picnic. I wish I had more time to play with my stuff these days, but at this time in my life it is FAR more important to work on other things. I'm so grateful to be able to plan this special day for Caitlin and Carson---it's coming together, which is a blessing. If you start planning a wedding---give me a call---I can tell you some of my mistakes---starting with the invitations---but I don't want to go there!
Enjoy your day---so glad you stopped by!
Kathleen

I do not understand what a tent card is.
One of my favorites. This is a beautiful card! Please come and take a look at my blog. I am giving away a Free Digital Stamp.
