{Praying for you}

WOW---what a week---I got these new wonderful stamps and had no time to play---that is just not right!

Here's a post with a quick card using Dawn McVey's new Damask Designs set and Papertrey's new colors, Melon Berry and New Leaf---they are yummy. You know, I received my new Talbot's catalog the other day and I was shocked to see how much orange was in there----now, I know everyone tells me that PTI really knows trends and all, but it was amazing how close all the colors were to the newest PTI colors---JCrew, Pottery Barn, the same thing---OK, I digress!

I started with a card in the New Leaf cardstock. I stamped the damask design using the border stamp on Melon Berry with Versamark and then embossed it using Clear Embossing powder. Then I stamped the larger damask design and sentiment on White cardstock and embossed and cut it using a Labels 2 die.

I tied a ribbon around the whole card and then tied on a beautiful new button with some linen thread. I wasn't happy with the look of the card, so I used some of my Black and White Basics patterned paper. I love black and white and I think it adds such great texture and class to anything you put it on---OK, that's a big statement, but you know what I mean. It is a little busy, but I kind of like it---what do you think?

Well, enough typing---I'm off to stamp--it's my day off and I need to use it wisely!! Have a great day~
Kathleen
